Exam Pattern
The examination will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) with a total of 100 marks and a duration of 2 hours.
- General Knowledge: 50 Questions – 50 Marks
- English Composition – Objective: 20 Questions – 20 Marks
- English Composition – Subjective: 30 Marks
- Total: 100 Marks

The salary details for the Clerk position will be as per the norms set by the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Age Limit
The age limit is calculated as on 01 January 2026. The minimum age for Unreserved/General candidates is 18 years and the maximum age is 37 years.
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 37 years
- SC and BC/OBC candidates of Punjab receive 5 years relaxation.
- PwBD candidates of Punjab receive 10 years relaxation.
- For Punjab Ex-Servicemen, the upper age limit is the number of years of military service rendered plus 3 years.
- In-service employees can have an upper age limit of 45 years.
Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science or equivalent
- Matriculation with Punjabi as a subject: Required
- Proficiency in computer operation: Required
